Do not attempt to cut wires, as multi-strand wires are solid and soldered together so they can be attached to the switch.

Steps: Before removing the existing fan switch, write down the color of each wire and the portal number to which they are attached on the switch. If the wires are difficult to remove, use a paper clip or a large sewing needle to carefully pull them out. Ensure that the wire lead length is the same as the line beside the word "STRIP." Insert the wires into the new switch, making sure to insert them into the slots on the side, not the holes on the surface.
