How did Foxtail get its start? Originally made by Klutz Press in 1996, Cassidy Labs acquired it from Scholastic and relaunched it, maintaining its original quality and theme. The collectors versions are exactly like the ones from the 90s. All of its materials are high in quality and will last for years or even decades. The original Foxtail, known as the Foxtail sport, has a leather baseball at its end, while the Foxtail softie has a soft ball at the end for any younger users. The new Foxtail with LED has LEDs inside its foam ball which is a little heavier than the softie and thus flies a little further.
